Digital River to Provide E-Commerce Support for Turbine

Digital River, Inc. (www.digitalriver.com), a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing, today announced that it is providing e-commerce support for Turbine, Inc., a premier producer, publisher and operator of online games. Based on the agreement, Digital River will focus on e-store management for Turbine.

“The increasing adoption of broadband is making it more efficient and convenient for consumers to purchase and download large games over the Internet,” said Tom Venable, Digital River’s senior vice president of retail sales.

Digital River is hosting Turbine’s direct-to-consumer e-commerce site, which can be accessed through the “Store” link at http://www.turbine.com. In addition to providing electronic downloads, Digital River is processing orders, shipping boxed products, managing fraud prevention screening and providing 24 X 7 customer service for Turbine on this consumer site.
