Digital River, Inc. (www.digitalriver.com), a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing, today announced it has signed an e-commerce agreement with HipSoft, LLC., a publisher of high quality games for the downloadable and casual gamer markets.

Through Digital River's Sales Network, HipSoft is offering play-for-free and buy-now versions of select software titles, including its popular Flip Words, Puzzle Express and Trivia Machine games.

"With an already established online sales network backed by a world class e-commerce infrastructure, we continue to attract the attention and win the business of game publishers across multiple categories," said Tom Venable, Digital River's senior vice president of retail sales.

To help protect HipSoft's license rights, Digital River is wrapping the games it delivers through its Sales Network with its SoftwarePassport™ technology, a digital rights management solution.

"HipSoft is excited to partner with Digital River to deliver our games to a new online customer base," said Brian Goble, HipSoft's co-owner. "Digital River has made the whole process of engaging in its network incredibly easy, which lets HipSoft focus on making great new games."

HipSoft was founded in 2002 to create high quality games for the downloadable and casual gamer markets. Current titles include the popular word game "Flip Words" as well as "Digby's Donuts," which was the winner of the RealOne Arcade Game Developer Showdown in 2003.

Digital River, Inc., a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing, builds and manages online businesses for more than 40,000 software publishers, manufacturers, distributors and online retailers. Its multi-channel e-commerce solution, which supports both direct and indirect sales, is designed to help companies of all sizes maximize online revenues as well as reduce the costs and risks of running an e-commerce operation.
