Indosat Picks Equinix Singapore Data Center

Equinix, Inc. (www.equinix.com), a provider of network-neutral data centres and Internet exchange services, today announced that PT Indosat Tbk, one of the leading telecommunications providers in Indonesia, has deployed a network Point-of-Presence (POP) within Equinix's Singapore Internet Business Exchange™ (IBX®) centre.

By hosting its infrastructure at Equinix's Internet hub, Indosat plans to enhance service to existing customers by streamlining operations and directly connecting with the aggregation of networks operating within Equinix's Internet hub.

Equinix's network-neutral business model provides a strong platform to serve Indosat's need to directly interconnect to multiple global network service providers.
