Global Internetworking, Inc. (www.globalinternetworking.com), a facilities-neutral network solutions provider, today announced the promotion of Todd Vecchio as its new President. The company also announced the hiring of John Hendler to be Vice President of Sales.

"I am proud to have Todd Vecchio assume primary responsibility for day-to-day management of GII and to be able to bring in a proven industry veteran of John Hendler's caliber to lead our sales efforts. These changes will strengthen GII and enable us to grow to the next level," said Keenan.

Vecchio is a co-founder of Global Internetworking and previously served as its Executive Vice President of Sales. He conceived of Global's facilities-neutral, knowledge-based business model, and has played a key role in the development of Global's strategy since its founding in 1998.

Prior to co-founding Global Internetworking, Vecchio was Vice President of Sales for Atlantic Media, Inc., a competitive long-distance provider, and a Senior Account Manager with Bell Atlantic (later Verizon), where he was responsible for sales to enterprise business accounts.

Vecchio assumes the responsibilities of president from Mike Keenan, who is also a co-founder of Global Internetworking. Keenan will continue to serve as Global's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and will lead the Company's strategic planning and growth initiatives.

Hendler, with 25 years of telecom sales and sales management experience, assumes Vecchio's previous position as head of sales. Prior to joining Global Internetworking, Hendler served in various executive level sales positions, including Vice President of Wholesale Account Development and Vice President of Global Wholesale for MCI WorldCom.
