Hyatt Hotels Selects AT&T for Web Hosting
HostReview.com AT&T (www. att.com) announced today it has renewed a three-year contract with Hyatt Corp. to provide a comprehensive set of managed hosting services for Hyatt.com (www.hyatt.com), the company's award-winning Web site. The three-year contract extends and expands an existing agreement and continues AT&T's long-standing relationship as Hyatt's primary networking services provider. Hyatt.com will continue to be hosted at AT&T's Chicago-area Internet Data Center (IDC). AT&T owns and operates 26 IDCs around the world. Under the new agreement, AT&T will fully manage applications that support the Hyatt.com interface, online reservations and an interactive loyalty program experience. Additionally, AT&T provides business continuity capabilities. "AT&T's scalability and technical expertise in critical areas like bandwidth and performance management are impressive," said Joan Lowell, vice president of Electronic Distribution for Hyatt. "AT&T's fully managed solution allows us to focus on our core business, while offering our customers superior performance on Hyatt.com." Through the secure AT&T BusinessDirectÒ portal, Hyatt gains around-the-clock online access to real-time reports on network performance and direct connection to electronic billing and trouble management systems. Currently, there are 211 Hyatt hotels and resorts around the world.
