Amenworld, a VIA NET.WORKS subsidiary, today announced the launch of its new Windows Dedicated Server Pack that will be available for £29/month.

"Windows for the price of Linux is an unprecedented hosting offer in the UK and a very meaningful gesture to the market. Not only do we want to keep serving Linux and open source Customers, but our aim is also to democratize access to Windows dedicated hosting", says Dick Theunissen, President of Amenworld.

The new server pack, is based on Windows Server 2003 which combines the Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services) web server with .NET technology.

Customers can manage their server through Plesk 7.0.
"Amenworld's goal is to cater for the needs of all companies who want to get professional and independent hosting at highly competitive rates. We want to satisfy both Linux and Windows Users, and do so in a way where price is not a deciding factor. What we are saying to Customers, basically, is: the choice if yours," said Dick Theunissen.
