AT&T Taps Houstonian To Lead Southwest Region

July 30, 2004 - (HostReview.com) - AT&T has promoted Philip W. Johnson to the position of region vice president - southwest region. Johnson will manage the sales center vice presidents located in Texas, Arizona, Utah and Oklahoma who have responsibilities of selling AT&T services and building customer relationships in AT&T's enterprise sales segment.

"Phil's work is grounded in his deep understanding of the challenges AT&T's business customers face and his ability to help them increase the efficiency and agility of their network while improving services and reducing costs," said Judi Hand, president, AT&T enterprise sales. "Phil is a valuable asset to AT&T and has earned this new leadership position."

For the past six years, Johnson has been sales center vice president - enterprise sales segment in Houston. He is credited with creating a high-performing sales culture and a winning team.


Johnson joined AT&T more than 19 years ago selling AT&T Network products and services in New York. He was promoted to product manager, director of sales and region contract negotiations director before becoming sales center vice president.
