Solar Data Centers tapped to manage Portland Oregon Visitors Associoation’s Web Services

SDC will provide POVA with an Internet presence that is designed and configured to provide a high level of redundancy and 24/7/365 uptime. SDC's service portfolio meets POVA's need for a highly flexible and reliable Internet hosting infrastructure that also utilizes 100% renewable solar energy.

The Portland Oregon Visitors Association will have full access to Solar Data Centers Inc. redundant DS-3 lines with 45mb/s throughput. All the server specifications are as follows: 2U Servers with a Dual 2.0 GHz processor, 1 GIG of RAM and 3 x 36.7 SCSI HD's In a RAID 5 Configuration. POVA's Internet solution will be backed up by SDC's managed dedicated hosting SLA and uptime service-level guarantees.

POVA promotes the Portland metropolitan area as a preferred destination for meetings, conventions and leisure travel. POVA is a private, non-profit destination marketing organization with a membership of more than 1,000 businesses.
