Eagle Broadband Schedules Investor Conference Call to Discuss New Business Developments and Revenue Growth

LEAGUE CITY, Texas - July 27, 2004 -- Eagle Broadband, Inc. (AMEX: EAG), a leading provider of broadband and communications technology and services, announced today that it will be hosting an investor conference call on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time to update Eagle shareholders on a number of positive company developments.

"We have made important progress in executing our business plan and bolstering the top line of the business with new revenue-producing contracts and customer orders," said Dave Weisman, Chairman and CEO of Eagle Broadband. "As our momentum continues to build, we wanted to take this opportunity to update Eagle shareholders on our progress and answer any questions they may have."

All Eagle shareholders and interested parties are invited to participate in the conference call. Participants will be able to gain access via the Internet or by dialing in to a conference bridge. Specific instructions on how to access the call will be posted on the Investor Relations section of the Eagle Broadband web site on Friday, August 27, 2004, at http://www.eaglebroadband.com/investor/investor.htm.

The conference call is expected to last for 45 minutes and will include a management update and a 20-minute question and answer period where Eagle management will be available to answer questions from shareholders. The call will be hosted by Eagle Chairman and CEO Dave Weisman and Randy Shapiro, Vice President of Marketing.
