Norman Teams with Vircom to Provide Email Security for SMBs

July 23, 2004 - (HostReview.com) - - Norman Data Defense Systems (www.Norman.com/us), the North American subsidiary of Norman ASA, a global AV specialist, announced today that it selected Vircom's ModusGate to provide anti-SPAM and other e-mail security features to Norman customers and partners in the U.S. and Canada. ModusGate is an anti-SPAM and email security solution offered as an add-on to the Norman Virus Control Business Suite, which provides multi-tiered network anti-virus protection.

Norman and Vircom have been partners since 2001 when Norman's Scanning Engine was integrated into Vircom's product line, including ModusGate. Both Norman and Vircom serve an international customer and partner base, with a particular focus on the SMB marketplace.
