Everyones Internet Teams with AboveNet

July 21, 2004 - (HostReview.com) - AboveNet, Inc., a leading global provider of private, secure, high-capacity optical infrastructure and services in the metropolitan area, announced today that it signed a two-year, (EV1), the world's?multi-million dollar contract with Everyones Internet largest provider of dedicated server web hosting, to provide its Metro IP™ service to two EV1 data centers in Houston, Texas.

AboveNet will use multiple redundant Metropolitan Gigabit-Ethernet connections to enable high-speed bandwidth from its major point-of-presence in Houston to both EV1 data centers.
The contract is expected to generate 15 percent in savings because EV1 will be able to completely circumvent the traditional carrier network and have immediate access to AboveNet's tier one global IP network.

Houston, Texas-based Everyones Internet is the world's largest provider of dedicated server web hosting, with over 20,000 Microsoft Windows and Linux web servers under management.
