July 15, 2004 – (Hostreview.com) — Fry Inc. (www.fry.com), a leading e- commerce design, development and managed services provider based in Ann Arbor, Mich., has selected Sprint (www.sprint.com) to provide IP bandwidth services, audio conferencing and online-presentation capabilities for the firm.

"We were looking for a communications provider that could not only provide us with affordable IP access, but one that is stable and could offer new technologies to us as our needs grow," said Matt Heaton, director of managed services at Fry.
Under a two- year deal, Sprint will provide OC-3 connectivity to Fry in support of Fry's fast-growing business of developing and hosting Web sites and online applications for some of the most recognized brand names in the world, including Godiva, Amazon.com, Eddie Bauer and Brookstone. Fry will also begin using Sprint Audio Conferencing(SM) services as well as Sprint Online Presenter(SM), a Web-based tool for online presentations, seminars and training, meetings and more.

Fry designs, builds, hosts, and manages Web applications for clients in the retail, financial, automotive, broadcasting and consumer packaged goods sectors.

Sprint operates one of the world's few Tier-1 IP networks and in June set a new record for bandwidth throughput, sending live customer traffic over a 40-Gigabit per second (Gbps) connection, four times the industry's current 10 Gbps operating standard.
Sprint is a global integrated communications provider serving more than 26 million customers in over 100 countries. With approximately 65,000 employees worldwide and over $26 billion in annual revenues in 2003, Sprint is widely recognized for developing, engineering and deploying state-of-the-art network technologies, including the United States' first nationwide all- digital, fiber-optic network and an award-winning Tier-1 Internet backbone. Sprint provides local communications services in 39 states and the District of Columbia and operates the largest 100-percent digital, nationwide PCS wireless network in the United States.

Fry, Inc. helps organizations conduct business transactions, disseminate information, build customer relationships and synchronize efforts across multiple channels.
