Jul 6, 2004 – (HostReview.com) – Mpower Communications Corp., today announced it has expanded its communications network across the entire San Francisco Bay from downtown San Francisco down the peninsula to San Jose.

This new service territory will connect to Mpower’s existing coverage area on the East side of the Bay and is a natural extension of the company’s footprint in Northern California. Given that all of Mpower’s voice services include free local calling within the LATA, calls from San Jose to Petaluma, Sunnyvale to Benicia, or any parts in between are free on Mpower service.

“Our facilities-based network enables us to make cost-effective enhancements and increase our addressable market without any significant capital investment,” said Mpower Communications Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Rolla P. Huff.

“We are seeing increased demand for efficient and effective communications services across Northern California,” added Mpower Communications President of Sales and Marketing Jim Ferguson.

Mpower has been operating in Northern California since July of 2000 and provides integrated communications services to thousands of business customers today.
