Leading Regional Carrier Deploys Main Point-of-Presence in Equinix's Singapore Internet Business Exchange (IBX) Center

Singapore - April 26, 2004 - Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, today announced that the PLDT Singapore(PLDT SG) has moved their primary network point-of-presence (PoP) into Equinix's Singapore Internet Business Exchange™ (IBX ®) center to enhance their voice and data connectivity with the leading networks of Asia. By moving this critical component of their data infrastructure from a local service provider to Equinix, PLDT SG can quickly, easily and privately interconnect with a wide selection of business partners, local service providers and customers, enabling them to deliver higher levels of speed, flexibility and adaptability.

PLDT SG is the wholly owned subsidiary of PLDT Global Corporation, which is 100% owned by the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT). Founded in 1928, PLDT is the principal supplier of domestic and international telecommunications services in the Philippines.
