This solution combines Scene7’s Infinite Imaging™ Platform with the Akamai EdgePlatformSM to provide visual rich media capabilities on Akamai's globally distributed network of over 14,000 servers. DIOD can increase web revenues with dramatically enhanced visual merchandising, while offering clients an “instant on” hosted solution to streamline web image publishing and minimize upfront capital and resource investment.

DIOD “dynamically” generates unlimited product image variations from a single master photograph – while also enhancing the customer experience with features like zoom, 360 spin, texture rendering, compositing, graphic templating and network editing. Clients access Scene7’s hosted, browser-based image production and publishing environment to automate image organization, preparation and publishing to websites. Published content is then served via Akamai’s EdgePlatform – which ensures world-class scalability, reliability and performance.
