April 15, 2004- (Pittsburgh, PA) – Today, Inflow-Pittsburgh, a leading provider of managed outsourcing services to clients with mission-critical applications, announced it will hold a High Availability Website Architecture seminar on Saturday, April 17, 2004, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Inflow-Pittsburgh Office, 2202 Liberty Avenue, in Pittsburgh. A light breakfast and lunch will be served.

The seminar is targeted at IT professionals interested in enhancing the performance and availability of their IT applications, and will cover:

« Overview of the Typical Three-Tier Website Architecture and How to Optimize it For Redundancy
« Methods of IP Load Balancing – Distributing Traffic Across Web Servers and Cluster Database Servers for Availability
« Storage Area Network (SAN) Architectures and How to Make Them Work Effectively with Clustering Applications Such As Red Hat's Linux Cluster Suite & Veritas Cluster Server

The key presenter will be Paul Painter, Inflow Systems Engineer. Paul assists Inflow customers with network infrastructure needs, managed services provisioning of hosted applications, as well as business continuance techniques. Paul has 20 years of IT experience working with Unix, Linux, Netware, and Windows Servers and 16 years experience in solutions design and implementation of LANs/WANs and groupware messaging systems. Paul's certifications include Certified Netware Engineer (CNE) on Netware 3 - 5, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and Hewlett-Packard Certified Server Specialist.
