Radiant Secures $1 Million Equip. Lease Financing

Master Lease Line from MFP to fund 2004 Network Improvements

April 8, 2004 - VANCOUVER – Radiant Communications Corp. (“Radiant” or the “Company”) (TSX Venture Exchange: RCX), one of Canada’s largest independent providers of IP-based data communications and Internet services, is pleased to announce that it has secured $1 million in equipment lease financing to support further expansion and development of its national network.

The thirty-six month, master lease agreement was arranged through MFP Financial Services Ltd. (“MFP”) to purchase additional network equipment for the Company’s existing datacenters. In connection with the leasing facility, MFP will receive up to 200,000 warrants exercisable into one common share for twenty-four months at an exercise price of $0.50 per share. This lease agreement will provide the base financing for the Company’s capital program.
The new funds will be directed towards expansion and upgrades for future customer growth at the Company’s datacenters in Toronto and Vancouver. The additions will double the number of DSL connections that can be provisioned in each data centre and enable greater network diversity and redundancy. In addition the company will double its web hosting capacity used for shared and managed servers. The Company will also deploy an advanced mail architecture to increase scalability, improve security and add new collaboration capabilities.
