TeleDerm Solutions Chooses VeriCenter to Manage Online TeleDermatology Platform

March 16, 2004, Houston, Texas – TeleDerm Solutions Inc. announced today that VeriCenter Inc. now manages its online teledermatology (telemedicine) application and associated infrastructure. VeriCenter is a leading provider of enterprise managed hosting services with Class A data centers in Houston, Boston, Dallas, Atlanta and Denver.

TeleDerm Solutions provides online dermatology consultations and serves healthcare organizations, physicians and their patients around the world. Serving customers such as the University of Miami School of Medicine and the Veteran’s Hospital in Georgia, TeleDerm delivers access to dermatologists when they would otherwise be unavailable. Patients consult with their primary physician who captures patient images, history and physical findings, and sends this information, via TeleDerm, to a board-certified and licensed dermatologist. The information is reviewed and a diagnosis and recommended management plan is sent back to the referring provider.
