February 24, 2004- (Raleigh, NC) – Today, Inflow Inc., a leading provider of outsourced technology services, announced it has added Big Rock Sports to its growing client list. Big Rock Sports is the industry’s leading fishing tackle supply company, supplying the needs of more than 14,000 independent fishing and hunting retailers throughout North America.

“We are excited to welcome Big Rock Sports to Inflow,” said Chris Turco, general manager for Inflow-Raleigh. “Big Rock wanted the expert capabilities of a seasoned provider to help it securely grow its online presence. Inflow’s ISO certification, state-of-the-art facilities and innovative solutions comprise the perfect solution to meet Big Rock’s requirements.”

Big Rock Sports first approached Inflow about a possible relationship in July, 2003, when the company made the decision to move its data center out of a hurricane-prone city on the North Carolina coast to ensure business continuity. This, coupled with the increasing web site usage by its customers, prompted Big Rock to search for a capable provider that could provide highly reliable and secure IT outsourcing services the company needed to support its mission-critical web presence while delivering superior customer service.

Before moving to Inflow, Big Rock was located in a competitor’s facility, and found aspects of the service provided to be unsatisfactory. Since moving to Inflow, the company has received superior service.

“We chose Inflow for its comprehensive solutions and viability over the long-term,” said Norm Pollock, Vice President for Big Rock Sports. “Their financial stability will ensure that any future data center moves will be on our terms.”

Big Rock’s criteria for a new provider included superior technical capabilities and geographically diverse locations should the company’s need for additional business continuity be needed in the future. Also important to the company was 24 x 7 technical staff available for expert support at any time.

“I’ve spoken with several techs after hours and they have always been extremely courteous and helpful,” said Pollock.

“For companies looking for a competent outsourcing partner, I would say they should definitely consider Inflow,” he added.
