Xodiax Begins 2004 With Two New Clients

LOUISVILLE, KY -Delta Dental Plan of Kentucky and Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance have selected Xodiax Data Centers to provide disaster recovery and data replication services. In August of 2003, Xodiax partnered with BellSouth to upgrade its facility by adding 288 additional strands of fiber optic cable in a redundant SONET ring configuration. This greatly increases the capacity and flexibility of services Xodiax is able to offer their clients.

Delta Dental is utilizing BellSouth's Metro Ethernet product (formerly known as NMLI) to replicate mission critical data to disaster recovery servers running in Xodiax Data Centers. Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance is adding Xodiax as a node to their BellSouth SMARTRing. This will allow Kentucky Farm Bureau to replicate mission critical data to disaster recovery servers located in Xodiax and also will allow remote users to access the data from existing offices anywhere in the state. (BellSouth SMARTRing service is a dedicated, high-capacity network designed to provide increased reliability and functionality via self-healing ring topology between multiple customer locations and BellSouth central offices.)
