Equinix to Present at Smith Barney Citigroup and Needham & Company Conferences

Foster City, CA - December 18, 2003 - Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, today announced that company executives will present at the Fourteenth Annual Smith Barney Citigroup Global Entertainment, Media, & Telecommunications Conference on January 5, 2004 in Phoenix, Arizona and also at the Sixth Annual Needham & Company Growth Conference on January 9, 2004 in New York.

The Citigroup conference is being held January 4-7, 2004 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix. Peter Van Camp, chief executive officer, and Renee Lanam, chief financial officer, are scheduled to present on January 5th from 10:00 A.M. MST until 10:45 AM.

The Needham & Company conference is being held January 6-9, 2004 at the New York Palace Hotel in New York. Margie Backaus, chief business officer, and Keith Taylor, vice president finance, are scheduled to present on Friday, January 9th from 10:30 A.M. EST until 11:00 A.M.
