(12/18/2003) Global customer care and billing solutions provider CSG Systems (NASDAQ: CSGS) today announced that it has extended its alliance with BEA Systems (Nasdaq: BEAS) to offer BEA TuxedoŽ to service providers deploying the KenanŽ FX business framework. The extension represents a continuation of an established embedded distribution agreement between CSG and BEA, and the utilization of the BEA Tuxedo as a key component of several CSG solutions.

Through this extended agreement, operators deploying the Kenan FX framework and BEA Tuxedo can take advantage of an open, protocol-rich environment that is designed to provide unparalleled scalability and process control, not only to the modules within Kenan FX but also to third-party and custom applications integrated into the Kenan FX framework. The combination of CSG's sophisticated Application Protocol Interfaces (APIs) Transaction Set and BEA Tuxedo is designed to enable faster and less costly implementations of mission-critical solutions.
