HostReview.com
Andover, Mass. - November 25, 2003 - NaviSite, Inc. (NASDAQ: NAVI), a
leading provider of application management, content distribution, messaging
and infrastructure management services, today announced that the New York
State Department of Labor has added $52 million dollars to its existing
contract with NaviSite subsidiary, ClearBlue Technologies Management,
Inc. (CBTM) to provide development and hosting management services in
support of the America's Job Bank Web site. America's Job Bank is a 20-year-old
labor exchange network developed by the U.S. Department of Labor and state
employment service offices to link employers and job seekers. "Over the past 3 years, the New York State Department of Labor has been a great partner as we have worked together to create, host, and manage a world-class online employment solution. We are very pleased that they have demonstrated further commitment to NaviSite by providing sufficient latitude to continue to grow the already successful America's Job Bank initiative," said Denis Martin, senior vice president of Corporate Development for NaviSite. In 1995, the Syracuse, NY-based service provider, AppliedTheory (later acquired by CBTM), first helped the Department of Labor to move the application online and began hosting and supporting the America's Job Bank Website. Today, America's Job Bank is the world's largest job bank and currently has more than 600,000 resumes posted and 960,000 job openings for government and private sector jobs. The site receives in excess of 5.5 million hits per week. About NaviSite,
