The move to Equinix's network-rich data center will provide Britannica with a flexible environment to control and enhance the delivery of its digital content services while lowering overall costs.

Within Equinix's Chicago center, Britannica will have immediate and direct access to every major U.S. network and an aggregation of managed service providers. This direct access to their key partners within the same center will enable Britannica to eliminate the costs of establishing separate transit circuits to connect to each of these partners in multiple, disparate locations.
