EV1Servers Expands Power Capacity, Launches $1 Setup Sale
HostReview.com Houston, Texas | November 10, 2003: EV1Servers today announced that it has successfully expanded its data center's power capacity. "I am very pleased that we have overcome one of the most serious challenges EV1Servers has faced," says Robert Marsh, CEO and Head Surfer. In September, Houston utility provider CenterPoint Energy informed the company that the local power grid would be unable to support its continued rapid growth. The recent construction gives EV1Servers access to additional power through a separate grid segment. The project required approval from city authorities as well as owners of adjoining properties, which EV1Servers negotiated in record speed. The power expansion allows EV1Servers to make 1,500+ servers available in the next few weeks and launch its long-awaited $1 setup sale. The company has also signed an agreement for a second data center in the Houston area. The new facility will accommodate 30,000 servers; its first phase is scheduled for competition in March 2004. "We are truly grateful for our customers patience and support," says Marsh. "We are taking every measure possible to meet their long-term hosting needs." About EV1Servers Houston, Texas-based EV1Servers is home to over 18,000 Linux and Windows dedicated servers.
