Iomega Corporation Announces Adoption of Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 for Iomega Network Attached Storage Servers

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Iomega Corporation Iomega will be at Storage Decisions 2003 in Chicago, Sept. 10 to 13, demonstrating Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 running on an Iomega NAS P305m server. "Microsoft has been a terrific ally in the growth of Iomega's Windows- based NAS product line," said Wayne Arvidson, director of marketing for network storage solutions at Iomega Corporation. "Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 gives our customers an excellent foundation for building reliable storage systems that are easy to manage and maintain, which is especially important for small and medium-sized businesses that often do not have a dedicated IT staff." New Features * Multi-Path I/O (MPIO) Capability. Servers can employ multiple data connections between host and storage for improved availability. * iSCSI Support.
