According to a survey released by IDC this week, one-third of IT professionals reported that they have adopted a dynamic IT program within their organization. The release says that the emergence of the dynamic IT infrastructure is allowing IT organizations to move away from the costly, unorganized maintenance and focus on strategically positioned architectures.

The document explains that the dynamic IT is now being accepted as a value-based alternative to the large-scale data center initiatives.

This week Court TV Online selected and utilized Akamai to ensure consistent availability and performance of its three websites, courttv.com, Crime Library® and The Smoking Gun. As two leading news websites, courttv.com and thesmokinggun.com regularly experience significant traffic spikes when they are reporting on major trials.

SWsoft announced that it has received funding from Insight Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and Intel Capital.

Netcraft acknowledged Comodo Inc. in the June 2005 Netcraft SSL survey as the only High Assurance SSL provider to have grown market share over the past 9 months. Comodo reported that the company gained an additional 2% of the overall global market. 

This week NTT Communications Corporation, located in Tokyo, Japan licensed the CM4all WebsiteCreator as a new OEM customer through CM-AG's customer VERIO Inc. 

MCI, Inc. introduced E-Bonding Services for business customers. The new offering is aimed to help customers to automate processes by directly linking to MCI's back-end infrastructure via the Internet. The system-to-system interface using XML-based Web Services will allow customers to better manage their communications through automation. 

BT and Microsoft Europe, Middle East and Africa announced this week that they will be team up to provide an RFID managed service to the retail sector. The efforts will combine BT’s RFID data management and systems integration expertise with Microsoft’s experience in data capture and analysis.
