Alcatel (www. alcatel.com) and Telefónica Soluciones, a subsidiary of Telefónica, the leading telecommunications carrier in Spain, today announced a partnership to join forces in delivering enterprise communications solutions.

"With the Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise and its advanced software applications, we will be able to offer our customers industry-leading, converged solutions, significantly optimizing enterprise communications for our customers", said José Antonio Rocha, CRM business development director at Telefónica Soluciones.

Taking an open, user-centric approach to delivering solutions, Alcatel and Telefónica Soluciones will work closely with customers to provide products and services that meet their specific market needs, with a focus on value-added communications applications.

The solutions will be based on the Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise IP communication server platform with Telefónica Soluciones providing its high level of expertise in systems and applications integration, including customer relationship management (CRM), contact center and unified communication applications.

As part of the agreement, Alcatel and Telefónica Soluciones will formally collaborate to provide enterprises with a broad range of enterprise solutions and services, including IP telephony, call centers and unified communications.
