Rackspace Expands Microsoft Azure Support With Managed Identity And Access

SAN ANTONIO, TX--(Marketwired - September 22, 2016) - Rackspace (NYSE: RAX) today released Managed Identity and Access to the market, expanding its Fanatical Support for Microsoft Azure portfolio of services. Rackspace Managed Identity and Access leverages Azure Active Directory, coupled with Rackspace expertise and Fanatical Support, to help customers simplify identities that are spread across cloud services and corporate Active Directory environments.

Active directory can be complex, especially as environments start to span multiple forests and domains. With Managed Identity and Access, customers have access the expertise they need to help overcome the complexity that a cloud-based Active Directory could introduce, while still delivering on the huge advantages that an Azure-based Active Directory environment could bring to a company.

Depending on customers' identity needs, Rackspace provides support for both Azure Synchronized Identity and Azure Federated Identity models.

Managed Identity and Access is now in general availability for customers in the US, and will be available in European regions in November 2016.
