FortyCloud Upgrades Its Integration With The Amazon Cloud (AWS)

The AMIs enable launch of the FortyCloud service on the Amazon Cloud without leaving the AWS Marketplace. FortyCloud, an AWS Advanced Technology Partner, has enhanced its integration with the AWS Marketplace to allow all AWS users a simple and low-friction way to install the FortyCloud solution on-demand, on all AWS regions.

FortyCloud helps AWS users harden their cloud deployment and fulfill their security compliance requirements. The FortyCloud solution provides important IT security elements like Network Firewall, Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption of data-in-transit and integration with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS). In addition, for AWS, FortyCloud improves scalability by automating AWS security and networking configurations and introducing the use of policies.

FortyCloud's AMIs on the AWS Marketplace

The FortyCloud AMIs are self-contained virtual machine environments with the FortyCloud security software installed and pre-configured. These server images can be launched by AWS users into their cloud account using the AWS service console. The paid AMI supports automatic billing by AWS with per-hour granularity, ideally suited for a pay-per-use model. The BYOL option allows users more flexible and customized licensing possibilities, combined with the ease of use of the AMI model. Both options are available for free evaluation.
