Overall, there is a significant increased demand for Python skills. The research data from MS Gooroo shows some of these trends. For instance, from 2014 to 2015, the average U.S. salary of a Python programmer has grown from $85,000 to $108,000, a whopping 23 percent increase. The salary for Python jobs in New York and San Francisco stand out even further, with the average salary being close to $120,000. Add to that, $7,100 simply gets added to the salary when Python is listed on your resume.
