Mellanox And Mirantis Deliver New ‘Rack-Ready’ OpenStack Solution

PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OpenStack Summit Paris. Mellanox® Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX), a leading supplier of high-performance, end-to-end interconnect solutions for data center servers and storage systems, announced the qualification of its 10/40 Gigabit Ethernet interconnect technology with Mirantis OpenStack. The technology is now available with integration and support for the Mirantis OpenStack distribution, both available for free download and as part of a Mirantis subscription. The Mellanox and Mirantis OpenStack solution is available through SYNNEX and other channel partners.

The Mellanox adapter technology was qualified through the Mirantis Technology Partner program. Mellanox has also received the OpenStack Compatible mark from the OpenStack Foundation by demonstrating interoperability with the Juno, Icehouse and Havana OpenStack releases. Mirantis OpenStack now provides automated deployment of Mellanox into production-quality OpenStack clusters using the Fuel control plane of Mirantis OpenStack. Thanks to its simplified and reliable deployment automation, Mirantis OpenStack can use Mellanox adapter technology to deploy and operate clouds with a broader mix of workloads, without compromising critical performance parameters. Mellanox is also featured on the OpenStack Marketplace and Driverlog websites.
