CloudApp 3.0 Brings Motion, Teams, Google Apps And More

03:52:08 - 29 August 2014

CloudApp celebrates the release of version 3.0, featuring screencasting and CloudApp for Teams.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) - CloudApp, the popular visual communication application, announced the release of CloudApp 3.0 this morning, which includes screencasting (CloudApp Motion), and faster collaboration with CloudApp for Teams.

CloudApp (getcloudapp.com), nearing 2M users, is making simple visual communication through the cloud as fast and easy as possible. Its focus on increasing productivity for team members has attracted thought leading designers, developers and support teams to CloudApp in increasing numbers.

“Few apps come across my path that become instantly integrated into my workflow. Cloudapp is one of them. I honestly can't imagine using my computer without it. It's critical to the way I work,” Mike Gowen, Co-founder & designer at Delighted.

CloudApp Motion frees teams to communicate in a new powerful and visual manner. Within seconds team members are communicating--moving screen captures throughout their teams. From new product walkthroughs to existing visual interactions--a simple shortcut key starts the capture and moments later a high-quality moving image is available (eg. http://cl.ly/WxJk) to share in their clipboard--just like the 50M shares its users have already created.

Also included in CloudApp 3.0 is CloudApp for Teams- the first version of CloudApp designed for the collaborative environment within an organization. Teams can share the productivity benefits of CloudApp with rich integrations into their existing cloud services. With CloudApp for Teams, companies can manage all users through one interface, consolidate billing, share a custom domain (eg. shorturl.co), setup custom branded landing pages, provision and de-provision accounts using Google Apps and secure company information using two-factor authentication and SSL.

“I couldn't be more excited to release CloudApp 3.0," says Tyler Koblasa, CloudApp CEO, “...it’s the beginning of several exciting big releases that make CloudApp the tool of choice for builders and creatives--whether you’re an entrepreneur, designer, software developer or part of the customer success team.”

CloudApp 3.0 also introduces support for Google Apps and 3 new service plans. With Google Apps support, users can take advantage of signing in with one click and advanced security. The new plans, CloudApp Rain, Storm and Hurricane, support larger drop sizes up to 6 GB along with support for high data transfer. These plans allow customized links with a user’s domain name and feature integrations with tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, HipChat, Slack and others.

CloudApp expects to release its official CloudApp for iOS and updated CloudApp for Windows clients later this quarter along with several other long-awaited team collaboration features.
