HostDime.com, Inc. Opens New Corporate Headquarters In Research Park, Orlando, Florida

Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 - HostDime.com, Inc. has officially opened a new corporate office in Research Park, Orlando’s technology hub. HostDime chose the area for its proximity to the University of Central Florida and the technology-focused area. Many of HostDime’s staff are current UCF students and alumni, making the location convenient for acquiring new talent.

The new 15,000 square foot office will house over 100 employees in HostDime’s support, sales, creative design, marketing, and management teams. The new office will be operational around the clock to facilitate HostDime’s 24/7/365 customer service and support.

The newly renovated space includes a 1,000 square foot fully-redundant IT room with UPS and generator backup. A corresponding diesel fuel reserve was installed on site to power all operations for up to a week in the event of an emergency. The room is primarily designed to facilitate the sales and support operations so there is no downtime in the event of a power failure. It will also serve as a backup facility for HostDime’s primary internal systems for customer communication. In addition, the room will house disaster recovery servers from HostDime’s DimeNOC data center for clients on a disaster recovery plan. A 1G private fiber line to the DimeNOC data center network will facilitate the data replication and the backup capacity needed to ensure full redundancy.

Energy saving components such as low power usage Brix computers, Electrorack heating and cooling components, and energy efficient LED LCD monitors were installed to keep the energy footprint as minimal as possible. Advanced technology designs were implemented to improve the efficiency of providing support to customers around the clock, and around the globe, 365 days a year.

HostDime is conservatively estimating the addition of 40-50 new jobs in the coming year and many more in the future. Its commitment to bring more technology jobs to Orlando is still a main focus through these investments. The estimated cost for the buildout and all furniture reached close to $1M.
