CommentsBELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Doyenz, Inc., today announced that Everything Channel's CRN has named the Doyenz ShadowCloud™ one of the “100 Coolest Cloud Computing Products.” The Top 100 Cloud Computing products include 20 storage vendors, including Doyenz. A recent recipient of the IDC 2009 award for Excellence in the SMB, the Doyenz ShadowCloud is a cloud-based managed service platform that enables SMB IT Service Providers to leverage virtualization and automation to deliver rapid, reliable and affordable business continuity to their SMB clients.
Sold exclusively through the SMB channel, the Doyenz ShadowCloud takes Microsoft Windows servers offsite where backup images can be rapidly restored to provide disaster recovery as a hosted service, until production is back on-line. The backup images can also be restored to enable safe testing, patching, upgrading, or migrations in a “sandbox” test lab environment. This gives IT Service Providers an economical and easy way to ensure client server uptime and the safety of business-critical data and systems.
Physical servers or virtual machines can be uploaded into the ShadowCloud, and IT Services Providers can quickly restore their client’s production to a physical or virtual environment.
