The Planet, the global leader in IT hosting, today announced it has once again been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Texas. The annual survey ranks the 50 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in Texas based on percentage revenue growth over five years.
The Planet’s increase in revenues of 259 percent from 2003 to 2007 resulted in a No. 41 ranking in the Technology Fast 50 for Texas. This is the third consecutive year The Planet has been included on the list.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and $5 million in 2007, and be headquartered in North America.
Companies from the regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America’s top 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
