HOUSTON, Nov. 5, 2008 – The Planet, the global leader in IT hosting, today announced that it will host the Techxans Fall CIO Panel Forums in Dallas and Houston. The events, titled “Trends in Enterprise IT: Portfolio and Project Management, Virtualization and Cloud Computing, Web 2.0 and Enterprise Relationship Management,” feature industry thought leaders who will provide insight from their own experiences in corporate IT.
The Dallas event is scheduled for Nov. 5 and will be held at the Infomart. The Houston event, scheduled for Nov. 6, will be held at The Planet’s headquarters in downtown Houston. The events will begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude at 11:30 a.m.
The Planet’s Vice President of Technology Will Charnock will serve as a panelist at both events, along with Allan Skov, former VP of IT for DCP/Duke Energy. In Dallas, they will be joined by Robert Clines, CIO for Dallas County; and in Houston, Brian Trudeau, CIO for Amerex Energy. Carl Meadows, senior product manager for The Planet, is a featured speaker at the events, along with executives from Compuware and Oracle.
