SingleHop is moving to a South Loop facility from 600 S. Federal Street and will be expanding from 30 to 100 server cabinets housed in 5,000 square feet of operations space. This 24/7 state of the art facility features redundant UPS and HVAC systems and is literally located across the street from its power source.
"It was important for us to address our draw on the local power grid, so this datacenter features our newly designed servers that operate 30% more efficiently than the industry standard. Couple this with our close proximity to the local power source and we've really minimized our potential power draw," says Zak Boca, President and founder of SingleHop.
SingleHop follows this move with a significant new incentive program that will dramatically affect their current and future client base. Details of this incentive will be released on Monday, October 16, 2007.
