AIT gives portion of its proceeds to charity, and sends new customers computer equipment with purchase of dedicated servers

In the spirit of the holiday season, AIT (https://www.aitcom.net/holidayspecial.php) is giving gifts to new customers and a portion of its proceeds to charity.  Customers who sign up between now and January 3rd will get either PDA’s or desktop PC’s, depending on their purchase, and the Salvation Army chapter in AIT’s hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina will also be a beneficiary.

“We already host the chapter’s website, so this is a continuation of a relationship with an organization that benefits our community,” said Clarence Briggs, AIT’s Chief Executive Officer.  “As for the electronics, we want to show our appreciation to the folks who make everything possible.”

The PC’s and PDA’s will be sent to customers who sign up for any of AIT’s dedicated hosting plans.  AIT offers a wide range of dedicated machines for hosting resellers, developers, and businesses.  All of the servers come with Xeon processors, and each has a minimum of 80GB of disk space and 2 Terabytes of data transfer.  Options include both self-managed servers with root access and fully-managed machines.

The only stipulation is that a recipient must pre-pay for six months of hosting.  “If we’re going to ask someone to make that sort of a commitment to AIT, they should get something in return, beyond speed, power, and service,” said Briggs.  “And, what technophile can’t use an additional computer or gadget.”
