Apptix, a premiere provider of on-demand, managed messaging and collaboration solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), today announced the opening of a new development center in Pune, India, and expansion of its North American facilities to support the needs of its rapidly growing global customer base.

In related news, Apptix also announced the expansion of its existing web-direct business with a new location in Secaucus, New Jersey. The hub of this business remains in Chicago, which currently houses an international data center, as well as customer support, development, engineering and sales staff.
"These new and expanding locations, coupled with increasing capacity at our established data centers in Chicago and Sterling, Virginia, will drive additional demand for highly-qualified professionals in all key skill areas," Hudda added.
