New York, NY – September 8, 2005 – Unicast, the advertising group of Viewpoint Corporation (www.viewpoint.com), announced today that American Honda Motor Company has chosen it to kick off an online advertising campaign using multiple video ad formats from Unicast. The campaign will take advantage of Unicast’s newly-expanded publisher relationships that enable its Pre-Roll format to run across many of the highest-traffic websites. The deal establishes Unicast as Honda’s premier provider of online advertising technology and service.

“We chose Unicast for their best of breed technology and rich media execution,” said Meridee Alter, SVP Media Director at Rubin Postaer and Associates (RPA), Honda’s advertising agency. “We could have done one-off campaigns with dozens of sites, but Unicast handles all the production, encoding and reporting, and we have successfully worked with them since they began offering superior video advertising solutions in 2003. This has allowed us to spend more time developing innovative creative and less time worrying about the delivery. Through Unicast, we were able to get to market more efficiently and cost effectively.”

The distinguished list of sites relying on Unicast to deliver Pre-Roll video advertising includes About.com, ARTISTdirect, CBS SportsLine, Discovery, Forbes.com, iVillage, NBC.com, NYTimes.com, TheStreet.com, and Weather.com. The addition of these sites makes Unicast the Internet’s largest single distributor of Pre-Roll video impressions. Unicast is now certified to run its formats -- including Transitional, In-Page, Expandable Banners, Super Video, and Over-the-Page -- across over 800 sites.

Other top brands working with Unicast for Pre-Roll advertising campaigns include Absolut Vodka, Fox Searchlight, Hyundai, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble, Ralph Lauren Polo and Volkswagen.

“Unicast sets the standard in customer service, possibly one of the most underestimated and under-reported necessities in our industry,” said Bill Wiemann, vice president of sales at ARTISTdirect. “Unicast’s Pre-Roll solution is the most advanced we’ve seen and we know that the support behind it will be available to us 24/7 -- that’s the necessary combination.”

“We understand that when it comes to high-growth revenue opportunities, our clients need best-of-breed and reliable products, and they need service to support them,” said Larry Allen, Unicast General Manager. “The fact that so many of the industry’s elite publishers trust us to deliver one of the most premium units on the Internet is the greatest compliment our team could receive.  We are very proud to be the single vendor so many advertisers depend on for online video and rich media advertising.”
