CommentsVitalStream Holdings, Inc. (www.vitalstream.com) announced PlayStream® VideoLaunch™, a video extension for Macromedia Dreamweaver and Contribute that enables designers and developers to add Flash video to Web sites using a simple drag and drop workflow.
VitalStream teamed with WebAssist, the leading provider of Macromedia extensions, to streamline the process of publishing Flash video and add interactivity to corporate and personal Web sites.
VideoLaunch allows users to place streaming Flash video on any Web page in three easy steps. After the user signs into their PlayStream account, a list of available video files is automatically presented for selection.
“As the first and most experienced service provider to offer streaming media services for Flash, VitalStream is delivering on its corporate strategy to provide affordable, easy-to-use services for the small and medium-sized businesses through our PlayStream division,” said Jack Waterman, CEO of VitalStream.
PlayStream VideoLaunch is immediately available for download at http://www.webassist.com/Products/82/overview.asp. The add-on is free but requires a PlayStream streaming media account to publish video to the Internet.
