CommentsNine Systems (www.ninesystems.com) announced that John Watson has been appointed Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead Nine Systems' global expansion and to help increase sales and awareness of its industry-first Network of Networks content delivery platform and rich media management applications. Mr. Watson will report to Troy Snyder, President and CEO, Nine Systems.
Mr. Watson brings over 10 years of international web hosting and streaming media software sales experience to Nine Systems. Until recently, Mr. Watson served as Vice-President of Business Development for TWI Interactive, the digital media and technology arm of IMG, the world's premier sports & entertainment marketing and management agency and TWI, the largest independent producer and distributor of sports programming.
Prior to joining TWI Interactive, Watson held various business development and product management roles at PSINet where he was instrumental in launching the managed web hosting business and responsible for building revenue enhancing strategic partnerships.
