CinemaNow will employ Nine Systems' Stream OS, the company's suite of configurable rich media management and delivery tools, as well as Nine Systems' innovative Network of Networks infrastructure which routes rich media through its Content Delivery Network (CDN) and across other top-tier CDNs to guarantee secure, reliable delivery worldwide.
"As the complexity and size of our content offerings increases and our delivery requirements become more demanding and diverse, it is critical for CinemaNow to customize an infrastructure that enables scalable, reliable content delivery," said CinemaNow CEO Curt Marvis.
CinemaNow has a unique set of network storage and delivery challenges including a growing number of High Definition films. Nine Systems' content management and delivery tools will provide CinemaNow with flexible storage solutions, while improving the quality of service for high-definition content and reducing operational costs through streamlined content management and reporting capabilities.
