The solution is designed for enterprise and e-commerce organizations requiring a high-availability infrastructure for the delivery of accelerated IP and Web services at affordable prices.
Foundry's new solution package includes a ServerIronXL application switch and an advanced ServerIronSA 100 Web accelerator for $17,495 (US List). The ServerIronXL switch is the industry's most popular Layer 4-7 application switch with over 15,000 units deployed in thousands of enterprise and service provider data centers worldwide.
It combines comprehensive server load balancing with advanced layer 7 content switching, and global server load balancing to provide a total application traffic management solution.
The ServerIronSA 100 Web accelerator offers integrated SSL acceleration, client-less Web compression and client authentication with performance of over 200 SSL connections per second and up to 100 Mbps of compressed content throughput.
Advanced client authentication using SSL certificates, and RADIUS and LDAP standard authentication mechanisms are also featured at no additional cost.
This complete application switching and acceleration solution can be deployed in high availability designs to maximize IP and Web services availability with seamless failover in the event of any device failures.

The new SI-XL16-SSL solution package is available immediately, and starts at $17,495 US List. Redundant power supply and gigabit uplink options on the ServerIronXL switch are available.
