GeoTrust, Inc. announced that Jeffrey A. Weber has joined the company as chief financial officer. Weber brings a strong financial background to GeoTrust, a venture backed company, having served as CFO at a number of successful private and publicly traded high-technology companies in the networking, software and storage industries.

"We're pleased that an executive of Jeff's caliber has joined GeoTrust at a critical time in its development," said Neal Creighton, president, CEO and co-founder of GeoTrust.

At GeoTrust, Weber will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations and developing and implementing strategic plans to drive the company's continued growth.

GeoTrust"s products include web security services for secure e-commerce transactions, identity verification, managed security services and TrustWatch (www.trustwatch.com), a free toolbar and search site that helps consumers recognize whether a site has been verified and is safe for the exchange of confidential information.
