CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - July 27, 2004 - McLeodUSA Incorporated (Nasdaq: MCLD), one of the nation's largest independent competitive telecommunications services providers, today announced it is now offering Preferred AdvantageSM Hosted Exchange and Shared Web Hosting for business customers. With the addition of these new Preferred Advantage services, McLeodUSA will provide businesses with the capabilities of a fully managed messaging and data communications solution while lowering the total cost of ownership.
