July 21, 2004 - (HostReview.com) - Radware (www.radware.com) announced the immediate availability of protection against the Bagle.AG worm. Bagle.AG is a variant of the Bagle.AB worm - a mass-mailing email worm that propagates using its own SMTP engine. The worm arrives as an attachment that may be a password protected zip file or an executable file. Once the system is infected, the worm opens a backdoor and then modifies the system registry to run on system startup. It then begins sending itself to email addresses scanned from system files.
