Secure, scalable andcentralized IP management for broadband service providers and corporatenetworks

VANCOUVER, Canada (June 15, 2004) – Incognito Software announces the introduction of Address Commander 3.0 – a web-based IP address management solution for broadband service providers and corporate networks.

Address Commander 3.0 provides limitless scalability for Ipv4/IPv6 address space, enabling network administrators to quickly propagate IP address space to match current needs, and offering the ability to create and manage “n-level” IP distributions – from a single IP node to millions of IP addresses incorporating thousands of subnets.

“The continued growth of IP-based services, devices and networks demands a robust, intuitive and centralized IP management solution for cost effective network operations and new service roll-out,” says Patricia Steadman, CEO. “Address Commander delivers these benefits while building on Incognito’s ten-year history of providing innovative IP and DNS solutions for the broadband and enterprise markets.”

Address Commander 3.0 offers a significantly improved user interface and more intuitive workflow; the ability to associate IP space with one or more entities, such as region, corporate division, service type, or end-user; and offers integration with IP Commander, the industry’s leading DHCP service. A robust user management service is included, providing administrators the ability to enable thousands of users, including customer service representatives, each with configurable access rights and security privileges.

For customers seeking the benefits of integrated IP and hostname data management, Address Commander 3.0 is fully integrated with Name Commander, Incognito’s domain management solution. Incognito will be shipping its add-on module, ARIN Module, for
customers who want to automate the reporting process with ARIN (American Registry for Internet Numbers) in the beginning of Q3 of this year. With the addition of this module, customers will have a complete solution that offers end-to-end management of IPs from
initial request, to disbursement, re-aggregation, and reporting. Reporting, diagnostics, and graphical representations of IP network topologies are all part of the Address Commander 3.0 package. A Java API and CORBA API ensure integration with back-office systems.
