CommentsMIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 29, 2003--Terremark Worldwide, Inc. (AMEX:TWW), a leading operator of integrated Tier-1 Network Access Points (NAPs) and best-in-class network services, announced today that it has launched new storage solutions to help its customers safeguard their mission-critical business data and support their Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning. This new portfolio of "utility-based" services allows customers to pay only for the services that they use on-demand, without investing in additional equipment or staff.
Terremark has partnered with Arsenal Digital Solutions, a leading vendor-neutral Storage Management Services (SMS) provider, to deliver local and network-based backup and recovery services. These available on-demand services combine state-of-the-art storage and backup technology with the massive network connectivity and fortress-style infrastructure found at Terremark's NAP of the Americas. As part of this agreement, Arsenal will manage a storage environment with capacity in excess of 700 Terabytes that it has now deployed at the NAP of the Americas to provide these services to Terremark's customers.
